The Oregon Trail Through Idaho, Oregon and Washington

The path of this trail goes through Boise ID and thence to Vale OR. It missed Jordan Valley OR which is well south of Vale, so JM did not choose to follow the route all of the way from where he picked it up in south central Idaho. He also chose to travel down the Washington side of the Columbia rather than the Oregon side as shown here. (map source:Hulburt)
